FROM THE LANE TO THE WALL
How a score travels
Four steps. Only one of them is yours.
- 1
At the lane
The judge taps the lane and enters the score on their phone.
4 - 2
No signal
The phone keeps the score and sends it when the signal is back.
QUEUED - 3
You approve
Nothing a judge enters reaches the public board until you approve it.
6 - 4
Everyone sees it
The wall, the warm-up area and the stands read the same board. It updates on its own.

THE WALL
Any TV with a browser is your big screen
Seven rows a page, readable from the back of the hall. If the wifi dies, the screen says so.
Overall standings, the current event, who's on the floor and who's up next. Seven rows a page, readable from the back of the hall. If the venue wifi dies, the screen says so instead of lying.

QUESTIONS
Questions organisers ask
Do judges need an app?
No. Judges score in the browser on their own phone, at the lane. There is nothing to install.
What happens if the venue wifi drops?
A judge's phone keeps any score it could not send and sends it once the signal is back. The TV says when its board is out of date instead of showing old numbers as live.
Can athletes see a score before I approve it?
No. A judge's score waits in your approval queue and reaches no public board until you approve it. The board only shows that a score is waiting.
Can I keep a comp private?
Yes. A private comp needs an access code to join, and you can print a QR code that takes people straight to the join page.
Can I get the results out?
Yes. Download the final standings as a CSV. For a public comp, the results link opens for anyone, no account needed.
